Loyal is a Class B ship built in Hardanger, Norway in 1877. It took 15 craftsmen and 400 metres of timber to complete this Gaff Ketch, which started life at sea as a fishing vessel. The white, wooden ship measures a total of 32.16 metres in length and has a hull of 25.50 metres. With a weight of 98 tonnes, Loyal can accommodate 16 trainees and 6 crew. The vessel now has a homeport in Steinsland in Norway and has a sail number of TSN 620.
